Tri-Air Developments’ technology unlike other decontamination devices is not a filter – it is a ‘fresh air’ machine that kills viruses and bacteria, naturally and safely, through a unique three-way action, by re-creating hydroxyl radicals (found in outdoor air) and emitting them into the room. The patented Tri-Air technology replicates the production of outdoor fresh air to destroy airborne viruses and bacteria in minutes. The continuous decontamination process occurs both within and outside a ‘Powered by Tri-Air’ device, making it effective even without processing all of the contaminated air through the device.
The device uniquely and synergistically combines three established technologies to replicate the production of naturally occurring hydroxyl radicals:
UV light reacts with low levels of ozone found in outdoor air, which mix with volatile hydrocarbons (given off naturally by plants) to create hydroxyl radicals.
